Internet Marketing – Discover Why people who brand themselves can succeed while others fail

Looking at what successful marketers do can give you insight into how to build a lucrative internet attraction marketing business. There are a few things that they do habitually that you also need to do to be successful. The first and most important is to brand yourself. Make sure everyone knows that you’re there and what you are offering.

Brand yourself. Develop “You, Inc.”. This is the mantra of successful entrepreneurs. You have to stand out in a crowd.

Follow your passions, your values, and your interests. Build “You, Inc.” from day one. Brand yourself as a solutions provider and lead with value. The money will follow. I recently interviewed Ty Tribble, the number one network marketing blogger on the face of the earth and also one of the top 100 small business bloggers in the world. He re-emphasized to me how important it is to be real. Lead with value and be true to yourself. When you are truly yourself, you will have no competition, because there is only one you. Let your authentic voice come through.

This belief is shared by other experts, such as Mike Klingler, who founded and co-owns Renegade Professional with Ann Sieg. I spoke with Mike and he had this excellent advice for the wise internet neophyte: make sure you know yourself, make sure you have confidence in the value of what you can offer to a business and to your customer. Your integrity will be your most valuable asset on the internet, just as it is in any other part of your life. Your character will shine through all you do and attract people to you. Honesty and a genuine desire to help are irresistible characteristics and you will be noticed.

There are millions of people on the internet clamoring for attention. You separate yourself from these hordes by being yourself. Know who you are. Take time to assess your strengths and weaknesses.

People are attracted to integrity and authenticity, so build your business on things that are important to you. You can’t fake it; you need to have a real passion for what you are doing to build a strong business. Plus, when you are doing something that you love you will work harder, smarter and longer. It will also make you more creative. It’s much easier to come up with new ideas when you are already excited about what you are doing.

Internet Marketing guru Rich Schefren said “It’s often better to be different, than it is to be better.” Many people who go into business online use a cookie cutter approach, doing things a certain way because other people have been successful that way. That mentality is one that you should avoid. Being successful is about capturing and keeping people’s attention. You won’t do that if you’re just like everyone else. Examine the product or service you want to market and determine what it’s lacking. Then add that aspect. Try to put a unique spin on it and in the process you will brand yourself an expert and establish yourself as the go-to person in your niche. People will start seeking you out.

Jay Abraham, an incredible Business Strategist and internet marketer, has counseled others to become expert, reliable mentors. His words were “fall in love” with those who are actually using your product or service. They are what will make your business work, if you develop a relationship with them. Be there for them when they need you, and they will not forget you.
