Are you one of the hundreds of people out there who has tried to make money online with little to no success? If – yes, I can hear you. I was also part of them. I have tried every possible way of making money online – creating MFA websites, PRL articles, whatever you can think of – I have done it and I never made enough money to justify my time and efforts.
I was so desperate and on the verge of giving up when I read an article. It had no hype just simple logic that made a lot of sense. For that reason I decided to give it a try. It was an article on how to make money with Amazon.com. I rolled my sleeves up and worked hard for a month or so and I started to see results from my work.
In this article I want to share my experience with you and hopefully to help a few of you out there finally make some money online. Before I go on I want to tell you that you don’t have to spend a dime with my method to start earning money online. That being said let’s move on.
Needles to say if we want to sell products from Amazon.com we need to become their partners. For that you need to google “amazon affiliate program” and click the first result. While signing up you will have to provide the url of a website you own. Don’t have a website? Don’t worry – you can use the address of any website of the Internet that looks decent and have valuable info on it.
The next thing we need to do is to choose a bunch of products that we want to promote. If you don’t know Amazon.com is the largest online store with annual revenue for 2008 of 5.5 billion dollars. It means that whatever item you can think of Amazon probably has it. Now you know why it is that hard to pick products to promote. Fortunately Amazon is here to help us with that – it provides a list of the 100 best selling items in each category.
To see any of the lists click on one of the categories on the left at the main page. If you scroll down the list you will see something like “See All Bestsellers in (the name of the category)”. Click it and you will be presented with the top 100 best selling items in this category. To me it is insane – I instantly know what sells most and that’s what I want to promote. How to promote them you might ask?
Promoting merchandise from Amazon is a piece of cake. It is not secret that there are websites that Google favors. Whatever you put on it hits the front pages of the search engines in a matter of days. One of those loved by Google websites is Squidoo.com. The best thing is that posting on Squidoo is completely free. All you have to do is to create an account and start posting.
Now the question is what to post when you have a Squidoo account. Amazon allows its customers to write reviews of the products they have purchased. It is pure gold. All we need to do is to read the first page of reviews and come up with 300 word review of our own. In the beginning it was taking me an hour to come up with one. Nowadays I need about 15 minutes. You can do that too.
The next thing is to upload the review to Squidoo.com and in a matter of days it should hit the first page. Of course one review won’t cut it. However – having a 100 or so will make a difference in your bottom line.
